"Sisters Of '77" -Announcing A New Film!
On a weekend in November 1977, twenty thousand women and men left their jobs and homes in cities and towns around the country to meet at the first National Women's Conference in Houston, Texas. Their goal was to end discrimination against women and promote equal rights. "Sisters of '77" will air on the PBS series Independent Lens on March 1, 2005.
