5/30/04- Wisconsin Shoemaker Keeps Factory in America!

John Stollenwerk, President of American Shoemaker Allen-Edmonds, was not preparing to send his operations overseas. Instead, Mr. Stollenwerk gambled on staying put and reconfiguring his factory floor, which re-opened on January 5, 2004, with a new manufacturing method that could increase production and cut down on mistakes.
